Carmen Neely

Carmen Neely is a North Carolina born painter who currently lives and works in Chicago IL. Neely brings a critically intersectional approach to Abstract Expressionism by means of addressing aspects of femininity and sensuality. With mark-making almost akin to portraiture, Neely challenges sentimentally through celebrating it to the point of interpretive subversion.

In addition to being a featured artist with Glass Breakfast you can find Neely's work at carmeneliz.com.
