All else. but the work. of Jasper Riley. is performance.

Vulnerable, self-combative and participatory, the work of Jasper Riley is loaded with conceptual and emotional baggage. But aren’t we all? With bravado balancing the serious with the serene, Riley turns the mic, the mirror, the glove, the pen and the question mark towards their own selves and all of us. Poetry of the bone, that feels like an avalanche or a spring rain.

Jasper Riley

Jasper Riley attempts to conjure a palpable sincerity, a felt work. If it must bleed, it must converse, it must learn. A focus shifts but this blood is constant and it is young.

In addition to being a featured artist with Glass Breakfast you can find Jasper Riley's work on Instagram as well as throughout the West and Northwest.
