The mutatingly wandering work of Joshua Bacha features a flat linear style that pays homage to Sunday morning cartoons, skateboard culture, insects and band merch. With a practice centered in positivism, Bacha’s creatures have no shame being stapled to a telephone pole, finding themselves tattooed on a foot, or the backdrop of an iphone. The ecosystem for Bacha’s work is without boundary, as life can be given to anything simply with a pair of eyes.
