The mutatingly, wandering unconsciousness of Joshua Bacha’s work features a flat linear style pays homage to 90’s Sunday morning cartoons, skateboard culture, insects and DIY band merch. With a practice centered in positivity, Bacha’s creatures have no shame being stapled to a telephone pole, finding themselves tattooed on a foot, or the backdrop of an iphone. The ecosystem for Bacha’s work is without boundary, as with a pair of eyes, anything lives.
