Cletus Wilcox

Cletus Wilcox is a visual artist born in Louisville, now residing in New Albany, Indiana. A self-taught artist, Wilcox centers self-discovery in an improvisational, dynamic manner through a variety of mediums. In tandem with their Sōtō Zen practice Wilcox's choice to welcome mistake and imperfection allows the artist to navigate spaces normally held back by permission and access. Wilcox’s simultaneous embrace of form and emptiness leaves the artist with powerful tools to investigate identity, experience and connection.

In addition to being a featured artist with Glass Breakfast you can find Wilcox's work at jcletuswilcox.com.
